Why You’ll Love This Ninja Creami McFlurry Recipe

This is my go-to recipe for making a vanilla-type type serve recipe in my Ninja Creami – I use the same 3 ingredients – Lactose Free Milk, Vegan Protein Powder, and Vanilla Instant Pudding. It comes out the same every time!

The ice cream is thick and creamy! Just like the real deal — maybe even better! It’s even whipped up really well like a Mcflurry!

Add your favorite candies, cookies, or chocolates like Oreos or Reese’s or animal crackers. – I plan on sharing more of these soon.

You know exactly what’s going into your treat. You’ll never want to go to Dairy Queen again!

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • 1 cup Lactose Free Milk, like Lactaid or almond milk):
  • 2 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding powder: Thickens the base for that signature McFlurry texture.
  • 2 tablespoon Vanlila Protein Powder – lets the ice cream have more protein. OWYN is my favorite vegetarian brand.
  • 1 tablespoon of peanut butter – this gives it an extra creamy texture
  • Favorite mix-ins (about 2–4 tablespoons): Crushed Oreos, mini M&M’s, Reese’s Pieces, chopped Snickers — your call!

Substitution Tips

  • Dairy-free: Use almond milk, coconut milk, or oat milk — just know it might be slightly less creamy.
  • Low-sugar: Use sugar-free pudding mix and a sugar substitute like monk fruit or Stevia.
  • More protein: Use a high-protein milk like Fairlife or Core Power to boost the macros!
  • Different flavors: Try chocolate pudding for a chocolatey McFlurry or banana pudding for a fruity twist.

Pro Tips for the Best Ninja Creami McFlurry

  • Let the base sit at room temp for 5 minutes if it’s too hard before spinning — it helps the blade glide.
  • Use smaller pieces for mix-ins: Crush candies and cookies into small bits for better blending.
  • Double spin if needed: If your McFlurry looks a little crumbly after the first spin, just hit “Re-Spin” before adding mix-ins.
  • Don’t overload mix-ins: Stick to 2–4 tablespoons so the texture stays creamy and scoopable.

Recipe FAQS

Can I make a McFlurry base without pudding mix?

The pudding mix thickens it and helps recreate that classic McFlurry texture. Without it, your ice cream will be softer and a little less “fluffy.”
